Dear Friends,

May this letter find you enjoying the Lord’s presence, wherever you may be. It is hard to believe that summer is drawing to a close and we are finding ourselves looking forward to Fall with the beginning of school, and so many other responsibilities. The summer is always such a time of focused activity and travel that it seems to disappear in a heartbeat, and we are planning for next summers’ activities.

We have successfully finished up the camp in Idaho, with their largest numbers ever!! There were 14 kids and 24 workers, most of whom were local, with the help of a few dedicated Minnesotans who journeyed West to accompany the team and support their efforts. The team there is already beginning to look to their next event, which will hopefully come together for this winter.

Kristin (Gillingham) Muñoz and her husband Dario have relocated and are now in the US from Ecuador. We are excited about their continued involvement in the ministry as they shift focus from Ecuador to the Midwest. Since we have relocated to Alaska, the timing is perfect for them to take over some of the responsibilities of networking, planning trips/camps, and expanding our ministry in Minnesota, Wisconsin and surrounding areas. Please continue to pray for them as they adjust to life here and as they welcome their first child in November!!!

Crystal Galvan, who has been our Texas contact and camp coordinator, has relocated to the West Coast, attending seminary with her husband Santos. As you may recall, she handed the job of camp coordinator in Texas over to Eunice this last July, yet is committed to continuing her work by writing a book/manual on camp development. She may be able to help in Idaho, and, if their future keeps them West, is looking towards a possible camp in Oregon/Washington. Keep up the good work Crystal!!!

On a personal note, we are thankful to be experiencing some “normalcy” in Alaska, after a somewhat challenging round of camps in the midst of the annual rummage sale and final steps with the house in Big Lake. Jordana has been working hard adjusting to the new school year. She has a new electric chair so she can get around the high school faster, and this year she is teaching on two campuses, which is an extra challenge for her. Osito is looking forward to the new school year as well.

We sincerely apologize if you have not received email updates or letters recently. We had been having problems with our server and are in the process of changing over. Lord willing, by next month our email letters will be back to normal.

Thank you all for your continued loyalty, prayer, and support. You all are a vital part of our team, and we depend on you all as we press on toward the goal. At present, we are working on developing a winter retreat in Alaska, much like the one in Wisconsin held in December (start planning now!!!). Please continue to hold us up in prayer and let us know how we can do the same for you! May the Lord be your strength and joy as you walk through your unique journey of life!!

Blessings to you and your family.
